President and Principle owner.  Started as a small union commercial service company offering service contacts of all types as well as, emergency service to Commercial and Industrial customers, which included Memphis' Tallest Building, Clark Towers, and Memphis' Largest Mall, Mall of Memphis.  Obtained Mechanical contractors license in Tennessee and Arkansas in 1984.  Worked thru several General Contractors on new construction projects including, Allen & O'Hara, Inc., Mayer Construction, Smith, Doyle, and Winters, Jamison-Gibson, Industrial and Mechanical Contractors and Davco.  Projects include Federal Express; Colonial Bread, Memphis; Merico Bakery, Little Rock; Holiday Inn, Memphis; World Wide Art Studio, Covington; Stonebridge Golf Clubhouse; Church of the Holy Spirit; Bartlett Fire Station # 2; Ice Rink, Covington Pike; Corps. of Engineers, Kingsport, TN..  Negotiated to an impasse with Local Union 614 in 1987, and started operating as a Merit Shop.  Member of the Memphis Mechanical Contractors Association, 1980 thru 1987. 

York Division of Borg-Warner, Engineered Machinery Division,  York, Pa.  
in the Little Rock Division 1977-1980

  Factory Service Representative for Factory working out of the Little Rock District office servicing area included West Tennessee, Arkansas, West Texas, North Mississippi, North West Louisiana.  Duties Included factory start-up of large air conditioning equipment from 100 tons to 3,000 tons.  Traveled to perform York's Maintenance Contracts, and to help York's Dealer Contractors on start-ups or problems related to the total HVAC system for new and old installations.

U.S. Army Reserves,  1966-1972

Enlisted in the Combat Engineers Reserve Unit.  Trained as 5 Ton Truck Driver.  Also trained during summer camp in combat demolition.  Served Four Months on active duty in Ordinance company as Motor Pool Clerk.  Transferred to Field Hospital unit and trained as a Lab Technician.  Honorable Discharge.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

  Signed Petition of Incorporation for the City of Lakeland, TN. in 1976.

Co-founded the Lakeland Lion's Club and served on the original Board of Directors. 

  Also served Lions as organizational Tail Twister. 

  Charter Member of the Lakeland Civic Club in 1980. 

  Sponsor of the Lakeland Civic Club "Funfest" for 15 years. 

  Built and worked the Funfest "Hole in one contest" for the charity event held at the Belz Outlet Mall.

  Started Lakeland Drag strip Car Show and Swap Meet, held in conjunction with “Funfest”

  A founder of the Garner Lake Homeowner's Association (GLHOA) of Lakeland, Tn.  The name has been changed to Garner Lake Association (GLA.)

  Elected and served GLHOA, as the first President and also Chairman of the Board of Directors of this lake community.

  Elected to the City of Lakeland's Board of Mayor and Commissioners in 1993, to a Four year term on this Legislative body.

Served on City of Lakeland, Design & Review Board,  and Board of Appeals.   Recognized as the Board's Public Works Commissioner.

A founder and first President of the Council of Lakeland Associations (COLA)
